The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Shotgun Team participated in the GISA State Clay Target Championship on December 1st and December 2nd in Savannah at Forest City Gun Club.  Students participating were: Cheyenne Anderson, Carleigh DeFee, Rob Moore, Ashton Scott, Anna Stanley, Heath DeFee, and KD Frost.  Team members participated in 3 events: sporting clays; trap; and skeet, shooting a total of 300 rounds over the two days of competition.   The RTCA team placed 11th out of 20 teams in the interscholastic division.  Senior KD Frost placed 4th in Women’s division in the sporting clays event with a score of 72/100.  The RTCA Shotgun Team is coached by Jane and Lane DeFee, Robert Moore, and Sean Scott.
