Robert Toombs Christian Academy celebrated Diabetes Awareness Month on November 13, 2020. This cause is important to RTCA because there are several students at RTCA who have this disease. Students were given worksheets, videos, and articles that provided information about Type 1 Diabetes. They also dressed in blue on Friday to show our support for Diabetes Awareness Month. “We want our students to be aware of this disease and reiterated that God made us all different and that He makes no mistakes. Education and awareness is a powerful tool we strive to provide our students with,” states Amber Meeks, Director of Development at RTCA.
