Robert Toombs Christian Academy is proud to announce their Beta Club received the National Beta School of Distinction and the National Beta School of Merit awards.

The National Beta School of Distinction award is an honor for Beta Chapters striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership and service to others. Beta chapters who increase membership by 10% over the prior year earn this award and will be publicized at the next National Beta Convention.

The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor Beta Chapters’ dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels participating in their Beta Chapter.

“I am very proud of the growth in our chapter and the increased service we have performed during the past year.  Carrie Ann Kennedy and I have a great group of students at both the Junior Beta and Senior Beta levels.  They were excited about competing at the State conventions this year, which allowed Robert Toombs to more than quadruple the attendance level at the conventions over the prior year.  I am looking forward to the next school year and am excited at the prospect of having the opportunity to increase our chapters’ presence, both in the community and at the state conventions,” states Beta Club Sponsor, Mary Ann Kimmons.
