RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for August is kindergartener Cason Absher. Cason is the son of Courtney and Travis Absher. He has a twin brother Cannon and three dogs Freddy, Hank, and Willie. Cason was selected by faculty because he is a very valuable asset to the kindergarten class. He is always actively participating in class and provides others with assistance. Cason is a helper and friend to everyone. He is a great student that truly strives to do his best. Cason’s favorite subject is drawing and his favorite color is blue. He enjoys playing baseball and loves dinosaurs. An interesting fact about Cason is that he fed a giraffe over the summer and wants to be a vet when he grows up.

RTCA’s Middle School Student of the Month for August is 8th grader Autumn Moore. Autumn is the daughter of Matt and Heather Moore. She has two brothers, Shane who graduated from RTCA in 2019, and Easton, who is in the 2nd grade at RTCA. Autumn was chosen as Student of the Month because she is a student who tries her hardest and never gives up. She encourages others and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Autumn’s favorite subject at RTCA is Science with Mrs. Kimmons because “it’s challenging and exciting.” She also enjoys participating in many different sports, such as basketball, soccer, swim team, gymnastics, and cheerleading. Her favorite thing to do is go to the lake with her friends and family.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s August Student of the Month is freshman Macy Kennedy. Macy is the daughter of Michael and Carrie Anne Kennedy. She has an older sister, Kate, who is a junior at RTCA. Macy was selected by faculty because she is very polite in class and always on task. She is always eager to help if there is ever the need for assistance. Macy has participated in the Crusader Spirit Band since 6th grade. She is the majorette for the marching band. Macy also twirls baton with Patricia’s Twirling Stars. She is on the Tattnall County 4H Livestock Show Team and competes in pig shows throughout the year. Macy’s favorite memory at RTCA is twirling a fire baton at her first football game last year.
