Robert Toombs Christian Academy is proud to announce that Mrs. Heidi Peterson, Fourth grade teacher, received a $500 scholarship from Alpha Delta Kappa. “I am very honored they chose me for the scholarship. I will be using it towards my Masters classes next fall,” states Mrs. Peterson. Alpha Delta Kappa is a teachers sorority that was founded by teachers in the early 1900’s. The sorority gives recognition to outstanding women educators and promotes educational and charitable projects. Alpha Delta Kappa sorority in our area is very involved with the local Dream Center and visit The Oaks-Bethany once a year where they play Bingo and have a Sunday social with ice cream and cake.
