RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for March is fifth-grader Tommy Fitzgerald. Tommy is the song of Paul and Jolie Fitzgerald. He has an older brother Sean, who is in the 7th grade at RTCA, and six pets. Tommy was chosen by the faculty because he works hard to do his best academically and gets along well with everyone. Last year was Tommy’s first year at RTCA and was very quiet and shy, this year he has really started to show his personality and many talents. He is thoughtful to others and a good role model through his actions in class and out. Tommy’s favorite subject is math and his favorite color is red. He enjoys fishing and playing baseball, basketball, and dodgeball. Tommy is a 2nd degree Black Belt and fought for the American Taekwondo Association World Championship and the Mid America District Championship in 2019. When Tommy grows up he wants to be a Bioengineer or work in finances.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s October student of the month is Freshman Rachel Threlkeld. Rachel is the daughter of Craig and Tammi Threlkeld, and has one sister, Samantha who is an RTCA Alumni. Rachel was nominated because she is always respectful and a hard worker. She never complains and her attitude is always positive as well as encouraging. On top of her being an excellent student, she is also a great friend and supporter to everyone in her class. Rachel is such a joy to teach and I look forward to teaching her in the years to come. Rachel is involved in many extracurricular activities at Robert Toombs such as competitive cheerleading, track, and basketball. She has been a part of two back to back State Champion cheer teams. Along with being a member of the Region Champion Lady Crusader Basketball team. She also represents her school as Jr. Miss RTCA.
