RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for November is 5th grader Sully NeSmith. Sully is the son of Jackie Mixon and Cary NeSmith. He has three sisters, two brothers, a dog named Abby, and a cat named Honey. Sully was chosen by faculty because he is a good listener, does a great job in participating in class discussions, and strives to get along with his peers. Sully enjoys participating in the dance line in chapel and always uses good manners with adults. Sully’s favorite subject is reading and his favorite color is blue. His favorite sport is baseball and he wants to be a police officer when he grows up. Sully also enjoys fixing things like his bike and even parts of a car. RTCA’s middle school Student of the Month for November is 8th grader Haylie Kight. Haylie is the daughter of Miranda and Buddy Kight. She has a twin brother Hayden and a younger sister Shay. Haylie was selected by faculty because she is very hardworking in her academics. She has brought up her average in multiple subjects that are usually difficult for her. She is striving to do her best in everything this year and it is really showing. Haylie’s favorite color is blue and her favorite subject is math. She enjoys playing softball and wants to be a sports trainer when she gets older. RTCA congratulates 8th grader Haylie Kight.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s November Student of the Month is Sophomore MK McBride. MK is the son of Key McBride and Antonio Stewart. He has attended RTCA since 8th grade. MK was selected by faculty because of his approach to tackling unknown material. He is a quiet student who works uncomplainingly until he gets the concept.  He doesn’t mind taking the extra time to ensure he comes up with the correct answer. MK not only competes in the classroom but as well as on the basketball court.  He’s a hardworking and well-rounded student. MK has participated in basketball since attending RTCA and received All-Region and Best Offensive awards his 8th grade year. His freshman year, he was named All-Region again and was named Most Valuable Player. MK’s favorite class is Mrs. Kimmons’ Physical Science class because she challenges us and makes us think outside the box. After graduation, MK would like to play basketball at a D-1 school and pursue a degree in sports management. RTCA congratulates Sophomore MK McBride.
