Cooper’s favorite sport is football and he wants to be a singer when he grows up. RTCA congratulates 1st Grader Cooper Hardman.

RTCA’s middle school Student of the Month for May is 6th grader Madalyn Joyner. Madalyn is the daughter of Jeremy and Amber Joyner and has a younger sister, Anna Kate, who is in the 2nd grade at RTCA. Madalyn was selected by faculty because she always works hard, goes above and beyond on all assignments, has perfect behavior and is a great friend and role model for everyone around her. Madalyn’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Stephanie Williamson because she makes class interesting and fun at the same time. She loves that Mrs. Wiliamson give them candy at the end of the week if they have met all of their goals and she likes all of the fun projects Mrs. Williamson gives. Madalyn enjoys playing softball, basketball and finishing with her mom and dad. Her favorite color is light blue and loves going to the beach during the summer. When Madalyn grows up, she wants to be an orthodontist. RTCA congratulates 6th grader Madalyn Joyner.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s May Student of the Month is Senior Kara Sanders. Kara is the daughter of Dan and Kathryn Sanders and has an older sister Katelyn, who graduated from RTCA in 2015. Kara has attended RTCA since K5. Payton was selected by faculty because she is always on time to every class, rarely absent, does all of her work conscientiously. Kara is just an all around well-behaved student and many teachers wished she had a classroom full of students like Kara. Kara’s favorite teacher is Mr. Peterson because “he teaches us through real-world experiences, which will prepare us for life after graduation. He supports our creativity and individuality, and takes time to work with each of us separately to ensure that we succeed.” Kara not only focuses on academics but also works full time throughout the week, while finding time to hand out with family and friends. After graduation, Kara plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing and later on fulfill her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. RTCA congratulates Senior Kara Sanders.
