Madalyn’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Stephanie Williamson because she makes class interesting and fun at the same time. Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s May Student of the Month is Senior Kara Sanders. Kara is the daughter of Dan and Kathryn Sanders and has an older sister Katelyn, who graduated from RTCA in 2015. Kara has attended RTCA since K5. Payton was selected by faculty because she is always on time to every class, rarely absent, does all of her work conscientiously. Kara is just an all around well-behaved student and many teachers wished she had a classroom full of students like Kara. Kara’s favorite teacher is Mr. Peterson because “he teaches us through real-world experiences, which will prepare us for life after graduation. He supports our creativity and individuality, and takes time to work with each of us separately to ensure that we succeed.” Kara not only focuses on academics but also works full time throughout the week, while finding time to hand out with family and friends. After graduation, Kara plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing and later on fulfill her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. RTCA congratulates Senior Kara Sanders.
