RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for March is fifth-grader Kailey Dismuke. Kailey is the daughter of Craig and Elise Dismuke. She has one dog named Cookie and one cat named Phoebe. Kailey was chosen by faculty because she is eager to learn and welcomes a challenge. She exhibits Christian qualities that make her stand out among her peers. Kailey’s favorite subject is math and her favorite color is purple. She enjoys dancing competitively and shows Equestrian regionally. When she grows up she wants to be a Marine Biologist. RTCA’s middle school Student of the Month for March is 8th grader Campbell Brant. Campbell is the daughter of Hayne and BJ Brant and Holly Ward. She has one brother Trey, Wesson, and Carson. Campbell was selected by faculty because she is an excellent role model for the students at RTCA. She is an asset and blessing to the Learning Lab this year where she is a peer tutor and works in cross-age grouping. Campbell has also started setting goals and working hard in her classes where she is making extraordinary grades. She comes to the lab fore and after school to help others. Campbell’s favorite color is sunflower yellow and her favorite subject is math. She enjoys riding horses during her spare time. When Campbell graduates, she wants to be a Special Education Teacher. Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s March Student of the Month is Senior Samantha Threlkeld. Samantha is the daughter of Craig and Tammi Threlkeld. She has one sister, Rachel, who is in the eighth grade. Samantha was selected by faculty because she is prepared, works hard, and is always pleasant in the classroom. She has been a great project leader for her Senior class and has made sure they turned in their items on time. She speaks up when there needs to be a change, but is not a complainer by nature. She is a good, solid student and athlete. Samantha has participated in Competition Cheerleading for four years. She received the Crusader Award her freshman year and was chosen to be on the All-State team her senior year. She has participated in Spirit Cheerleading for three years. Samantha has been a member of the tennis team since her freshman year. Samantha has also participated in track since eight grade as a pole vaulter and is the current GISA AA girls state champion. She was also part of the girls state championship team her eight, sophomore, and junior years, while being on the state runner up team her freshman year. Samantha is the current Miss RTCA. She is a member of the Beta Club, the National Honors Society, and Art Club. After graduation, Samantha plans on attending college at Georgia College and State University where she has already been accepted. She has also been accepted into the Bridge Scholars Program at GCSU and plans on pursuing a degree in Interior Design and Real Estate. RTCA congratulates Senior Samantha Threlkeld.
