RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for November is Kindergartener Emerson Smith. Emerson is the daughter of Justin and Kathryn Smith and has a little brother, Knox.

Emerson was chosen by faculty because she is always caring and willing to help others in her class. A fun fact about Emerson is that her teachers think she would make a great reporter!

Emerson has two dogs, Ravi and Diesel. Her favorite subject is reading and her favorite color is pink. She enjoys playing with her MeMe and her cousins. When Emerson grows up, she wants to be a doctor.


RTCA’s middle school Student of the Month for December is 7th grader Sawyer Adams. Sawyer is the son of Craig and Tracey Adams and has one brother, Henry, and two sisters Nell and Campbell.

Sawyer was selected by faculty because he is working hard to keep his grades at the top and asks a lot of questions. Teachers have said he is an absolute wonderful young man who is kind and is able to see the humor in life.

Sawyer’s favorite subject is science and his favorite sports are basketball, baseball and football. When Sawyer grows up, he would like to be a mathematician.


Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s November Upper School Student of the Month is Sophomore Jadon Robertson. Jadon is the son of the Dan and Holly Robertson. He has one sister, Olivia, who is in 8th grade and one brother, Jarod, who is a Senior at RTCA.

Jadon was selected by faculty because he is always willing to help, comes to class with a great attitude and positive outlook. A teacher at RTCA recently had surgery and Jadon volunteered to take over her morning duty! Not only does he volunteer throughout the school, but he also works hard in the classroom.

Jadon’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Lampp because she is nice and always willing to go above and beyond to help her students. He has participated soccer since his freshman year, enjoys playing soccer with his dad, and having fun with others.

After graduation, Jadon plans on attending college to become a video game developer.
