Robert Toombs Christian Academy held its Senior Academic Signing Day on Wednesday, May 10, in the RTCA gymnasium. Twenty One students have committed themselves to attend an institution of higher learning. After signing their name and the name of their postsecondary education choice, the students were presented with shirts from their selected institutions. Mr. Travis Absher, Head of School at RTCA remarked, “Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s class of 2023 will be greatly missed. This class has impacted our school during their time here, and I am sad to see them leave. However, I am excited to see what God has planned for their future. The class of 2023 is talented beyond measure. Among them, we have state record-holding and All-American athletes, accomplished musicians, future educators, medical professionals, and much more. RTCA has been blessed to have such great leadership on its campus every day, and they leave behind quite a legacy. Although they will all move onward and upward, they will always hold a special place in RCTA history.”

Addie Thompson: Addie is the daughter of Rhett and Susan Thompson. After graduation, Addie plans on attending Georgia Southern University to pursue a degree in early childhood education.
Aly Brown: Aly is the daughter of Whit and Jennifer Brown. After graduation, Aly plans on attending the University of North Georgia to pursue a degree in interior architecture and design and minor in business.
Mary-Claire Wolfe: Mary-Claire is the daughter of Neal and Jennifer Wolfe. After graduation, Mary-Claire will be attending the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in Biology.
Nicole Acosta: Nicole is the daughter of Drs. Brick and Frances Acosta. After graduation, Nicole plans on attending Georgia Southern University to pursue a degree in pre-dentistry to become an orthodontist.
Hanna Nichols: Hanna is the daughter of Brooke Derrick and Chris Nichols. After graduation, Hanna plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing.

Carston Tapley: Carston is the son of Vicky and Tripp Wommock and Duston Tapley III. After graduation, Carston plans on attending Middle Georgia State University to pursue a degree in aeronautical science.
Emmie Lynn: Emmie is the daughter of Shawn and Heather Lynn. After graduation, Emmie plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in cosmetology.
Marli Dryden: Marli is the daughter of Mandi Varnadoe and Lynn and Carri Moore. After graduation, Marli plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing.
Britton Botelho: Britton is the daughter of Richie and Amber Botelho. After graduation, Britton plans on attending College of Coastal Georgia to pursue a degree in nursing to become a labor and delivery nurse.
Amily Mixon: Amily is the daughter of Bubba and Karmen Mixon. After graduation, Amily plans to attend Georgia Southern University to pursue a degree in pediatric dentistry.
Abbie Bishop: Abbie is the daughter of Mark Bishop and Pam Bishop. After graduation, Abbie plans on attending Kennesaw State University to pursue a major in biology in hopes of becoming a US Navy Physician.
Kate Kennedy: Kate is the daughter of Michael and Carrie Anne Kennedy. After graduation, Kate plans to attend Clemson University and pursue a degree in Agricultural Mechanization and Business with a minor in Music.
Sebastian Holmes: Sebastian is the son of Gina Holmes and Nick Holmes. After graduation, Sebastian plans on attending Georgia Southern University and is currently undecided on his degree choice.

Bradlan McDonald: Bradlan is the son of Allen and Nancy McDonald. After graduation, Bradlan plans on attending Southeastern Technical College to pursue a degree in electrical engineering.
Dawson Pinckard: Dawson is the son of Byron and Deidre Barnett and Casey Pinckard. After graduation, Dawson plans on attending Georgia Southern University, then South University to become a Physician’s Assistant
Josiah Meek: Josiah is the son of Michael and Hope Meek. After graduation, Josiah plans on attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College to pursue a degree in Agribusiness.
Zachary Reaves: Zachary is the son of Julie and Steven Newsome and Terry Reaves. After graduation, Zach plans on attending Georgia Southern University to pursue a degree in business management.
Andrew Tuck: Andrew is the son of Scott and Lori Tuck. After graduation, Andrew plans on attending Auburn University to pursue a degree in exercise science with a minor in business.
JaShaun Powell: JaShaun is the son of Greg and Jennifer Powell. After graduation, JaShaun plans on attending Georgia Military College to continue his football career while pursuing a degree in sports medicine.
Adria Cuevas-Ortes: Adria is the son of Roman Cuevas and Isabel Ortes. After graduation, Adria plans on attending Florida Tech University to pursue a degree in air traffic control. He would also like to attain his private pilot license.
