RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for April is Kindergartener Brylee Harder. Brylee is the daughter of David and Megan Hardee and has an older brother, Brice. Brylee was chosen by faculty because she always takes her time and does her best. She is always kind and willing to help others. Brylee has two cats named Kailey and Angel and three dogs name Georgia, Daisy and Zoey. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite color is red. Brylee loves to draw and when she grows up she wants to be a teacher. RTCA congratulates Kindergartner Brylee Hardee.

RTCA’s middle school Student of the Month for April is 6th grader Macy Kennedy. Macy is the daughter of Michael and Carrie Ann Kennedy and has an older sister, Kate who is in the 8th grade. Macy was selected by faculty because she is extremely kind and courteous.  She is concerned about academics and always strives to achieve her goal.  Macy is friendly and welcoming to others.  She is an excellent example of a Christian student. Macy’s favorite subject is English and her favorite book is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. Macy enjoys showing pigs and placed 6th in class at the State Competition in Perry last year. When Macy grows up, she wants to be a vet because she loves animals. RTCA congratulates 6th grader Macy Kennedy.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s April Student of the Month is Senior Payton Nance. Payton is the daughter of Billy and Robin Nance and has a younger brother Cayden, who is in 5th grade. Payton has attended RTCA since the third grade. Payton was selected by faculty because she is a hard worker. Any tasks her teachers give her, she completes with ease. Not only is she a leader in the classroom to her peers, but also in sports. She is a great team captain and a great example for younger students. As a senior, she also makes time to play with the elementary students who look up to her. Payton’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Laree Findley because she makes History fun. Mrs. Findley always offers extra help and makes sure we know the information before testing us. She is always very understanding and knows how to teach things in various ways for each student. Also, Mrs. Findley is at every basketball game cheering us on! Payton has participated in Cheerleading all four years of high school as well as Basketball and Track. She participated in Tennis her Senior year and enjoys playing sports with her friends and competing in  All-Star Cheerleading in Savannah. After graduation, Payton plans on attending Georgia Southern University and to pursue a degree in public relations. RTCA congratulates Senior Payton Nance.
